STUDENT INTERNSHIP AT SAEC
Positions: SAEC is looking for highly talented and ambitious student interns round the year from Computer Sciences, Journalism, Communication, English, Marketing, and Business.
Office Location: New Brunswick (junction of Rt 18 & Rt 1). Rutgers university bus service next to our office. Executive office at Tower Center Building in East Brunswick.
Hours of Work: 10-40 hrs/week (Flexible
Work hours)
Required of all Interns: GPA of 3.5 or above in the related field and two reference letter. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. MA, MS, MBA and Ph.D students preferd.
Compensation: There is a stipend for the
internship position DOE. 15 work days probation period.

1. COMPUTER INTERN: Job Code (CI) Technology Intern will be responsible for a) website design, development, and maintenance, b) Member database development and management c) Office computer network maintenance d) database development and maintenance e) Lot of graphic design for web and print work.
You'll also be expected to do general tasks described below under category 4. GENERAL INTERN: Job Code (GI)
Requirement: Student from Computer Science with proven experience in website design and database. Graphic Design, html, xml, Dream weaver, Flash, Photoshop, fireworks, director, PHP, MySQL, and other web design and application development tools.
2. COMMUNICATION INTERN: Job Code (PI) Communication Intern will be responsible for development & writing of a) Website Content b) Weekly newsletter c) Press Releases d) Course materials and lecture series e) Grant application
You'll also be expected to do general tasks described below under category 4. GENERAL INTERN: Job Code (GI)
Requirement: Student from Communication, Journalism, and English with proven writing skills. Superb in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other presentation and design tool is required.
3. CONFERENCE INTERN: Job Code (EI) Primary task involves Conference creation, production and management. Proven experience at event venue selection, speaker contact, conference planning and many more tasks associated with event production

4. GENERAL INTERN: Job Code (GI) Students who are comfortable in multitasking. answering phone calls, replying to email, book keeping, data entry, conference coordination and many more tasks associated with daily operation, event production, and business advisory services.
